Ethereum is trading at $3,783.91, slipping by 1.84% in the past 24 hours. Yet, its trading volume has surged to $36.79 billion, climbing over 32%. The uptick in activity suggests traders aren’t stepping back. Instead, they’re preparing for something bigger. Whether that’s a bullish breakout or deeper correction is still up in the air.

Over the past seven days, ETH has barely moved — a rise of just 0.36% to $3,785.72. This calm might seem like stagnation, but for crypto watchers, it’s the quiet before a potential storm. A breakout above $4,000 could bring new highs. A drop below $3,500 could trigger panic. But many believe the days of ETH under $3,000 are over.

Ethereum May Never Drop Below $3K Again

Crypto analyst JACKIS doesn’t mince words. “ETH will never trade below $3,000 again,” he said in a recent post. For him, only Ethereum’s end would make that happen. He warns of a possible dip to $3,400, though, before momentum picks up again. According to him, this is just another structure in a familiar pattern seen in financial markets over decades.

His take is bold but not alone. Analysts tracking Ethereum see structure in its movements. Dips, corrections, and pauses don’t spell doom. Instead, they suggest setups. If the asset follows its historical path, a launch toward new highs may not be far off. Still, opinions clash — but as JACKIS says, “Time will be the ultimate arbitrator.”

Ethereum Price Forecast for 2025

Predictions for Ethereum in 2025 vary widely. DigitalCoinPrice forecasts ETH could hit $8,245.74 by year-end. Before that, it may retest its all-time high of $4,891.70. Bulls believe it will hover between $7,500 and $8,200 once it clears past resistance. January’s brief drop below $3,000 now looks more like a blip than a trend.

Changelly is more conservative in its prediction. They look for an average of ETH at $4,651.93 this year. Their peak price? $3,612.92, less than today’s price. The July 2025 average is $4,004.64, a modest 5.3% gain. Traders are torn between a moonshot and a cool-off. Ethereum, as always, is a coin to monitor, not only for profit, but for direction.
