Solana is climbing fast. It’s trading at $149.25, up 9.69% today. Volume hit $4.44 billion, a 7.77% boost in just 24 hours. Over the week, SOL has gained 18.04%.
Crypto analyst Patric H. says SOL is showing serious strength. It bounced nearly 40% after dipping under its 1-week EMA200. Right now, it’s in a supply zone between $130 and $145. If it breaks this range, $158 to $162 could be the next test.
That zone has served as both resistance and support before. It also aligns with the 1-day EMA200. Patric warns: if Bitcoin drops again, Solana could follow, possibly falling to $95 or even $70. But his group already played the bounce. “Risk-free trade now,” he says.
ARK invest buys Solana via 3iQ Solana ETF
Institutional money is finally here. ARK Invest, led by Cathie Wood, just bought into Solana indirectly. Two of its ETFs, ARKW and ARKF, purchased 237,500 shares each of the 3iQ Solana ETF (SOLQ), listed in Canada.
This ETF started trading in April and offers staking rewards. It’s also the only regulated Solana investment vehicle in North America. The U.S. hasn’t approved a Solana ETF yet, but this workaround opens the door for American investors.
ARK already holds stakes in Coinbase and Robinhood. Now, by adding SOLQ, it’s extending crypto exposure beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum. The move reflects a broader trend: institutions are no longer waiting for perfect regulation, they’re finding paths to enter.
Solana’s price predictions for 2025
Solana’s momentum is hot now, but forecasts for 2025 remain mixed. Changelly predicts a minimum price of $128.50 and a max of $138.58. The average? About $148.66. That’s just under today’s price. Around -3.5%. For April 2025 specifically, analysts expect a high of $144.42 and a low of $136.68. Average price? $140.55. That gives a modest ROI of 0.61%.
Still, Solana’s fundamentals are strong. It’s the second-largest blockchain by total value locked, over $7 billion. It’s fast, cheap, and widely used for decentralized apps. Network hiccups haven’t stopped adoption. And now, with ETF interest growing, Solana’s role in finance looks even more serious.
