Worldcoin (WLD) is making quiet yet noticeable moves in the market. Currently priced at $0.8704, it shows a slight 0.84% increase. This may seem minor, but in the crypto world, every uptick has a story. The last seven days also show a tiny upward trend of 1.51%, hinting at investor patience despite broader volatility.

However, the 24-hour trading volume tells a different tale. Volume sits at $91.13 million, down by a sharp 30.73%. This drop in activity might suggest uncertainty or fatigue among traders. Some might be waiting for a clear breakout, while others might be offloading quietly. This low volume could make the coin more reactive to big trades in the short term.

Worldcoin forms descending channel pattern

Crypto analyst Jonathan Carter spots something interesting. He notes that Worldcoin is forming a descending channel on the daily chart. The price is moving close to the midline. This setup can lead to either a bounce back or a deeper dive, but Carter seems optimistic about a rebound from this zone.

If the coin breaks above the 50-day moving average, Carter sees targets at $1.22, $1.65, $2.00, and even $2.85. These aren’t just hopeful numbers, they’re key resistance zones traders are watching. Each jump would require momentum, volume, and investor confidence to align. For now, the coin is still trapped inside the channel.

Worldcoin Price Outlook for 2025

DigitalCoinPrice shows a brighter picture for 2025. In January, Worldcoin peaked at $2.73 before falling below $1.68. Now, analysts suggest it could reclaim the $1.91 level by year’s end. Some investors even see it breaking its all-time high of $11.82 in the longer term. The belief in the coin’s tech and future utility keeps this hope alive.

On the flip side, Coincodex gives a grimmer near-term view. For July 2025, it predicts WLD could dip to as low as $0.613, with a possible high at $0.879. The average target sits around $0.697. This would make shorting the coin at current prices a tempting bet, offering a 30.09% return. As sentiment remains split, traders are left choosing between patience and profit.
