Ethereum is currently priced at $2,535.71, slightly down by 0.46% in the last 24 hours. Despite the dip, trading volume surged to $18.64 billion, a 66.77% increase, showing renewed interest among investors. Over the past seven days, ETH inched up by 1.49%, signaling a slow but steady upward push. These numbers show a market catching its breath before a possible run.

Analysts are watching ETH’s breakout above its 200-day moving average at $2,516. That’s a strong bullish trigger, hinting at a trend reversal. If momentum holds, price targets are set at $2,760 in the short term and $3,000 in the mid-term. Support zones lie at $2,400 and $2,100, while resistance points press at $2,760 and $3,000. Bulls have their eyes on the prize.

ETH ETF with staking expected in 2025

Technical analysts from CoinCodeCap suggest ETH’s recent move is no fluke. They label it a clear breakout, hinting that the trend is reversing in favor of the bulls. MACD sits positive, and RSI stays in the safe zone, both indicate strong momentum. The short-term trend is firmly up, while the medium-term outlook holds neutral. The long view remains bullish.

A key catalyst on the horizon? A spot ETH ETF with staking approval expected in 2025. Such a move could send Ethereum into another gear. The momentum is building. The volume spike shows that the big players are stepping back in. Traders now look toward $3,000 as the next psychological and technical frontier.

Ethereum price predictions for 2025

Forecasts for 2025 show a wide gap between optimism and caution. DigitalCoinPrice predicts ETH could reach $5,526.18 by year-end, surpassing its all-time high of $4,891.70. Market leaders believe a breakout is coming, and ETH will soon trade between $5,043.92 and $5,526.18. They expect a return to early January highs when ETH briefly touched $3,715.17.

But not all are convinced. Changelly’s analysis paints a more tempered picture. It forecasts a maximum of $2,725.39 in 2025, with a projected ROI as low as -30.6%. Their average ETH price prediction for July stands at $2,806.19. The lowest might drop to $2,553.61, very close to today’s value. So, will Ethereum soar or stall? The next few months could hold the answer.
