According to a recent SoSoValue update on Bitcoin ETFs as of May 6, the daily total net inflow recorded a loss of $85.64 million.
However, the cumulative net inflow remained positive at $40.58 billion despite the daily outflow. Total value traded across all funds reached $1.46 billion, while total net assets stood at $111.15 billion, noting 5.91% of Bitcoin’s market cap.
BlackRock’s IBIT leads in assets, Grayscale faces outflows
Tracking the individual ETF performance, IBIT by BlackRock led in net assets with $58.99 billion and a net inflow of $36.73 million. It traded $1.10 billion with a daily volume of 20.58 million shares and a 0.63% gain. FBTC from Fidelity recorded no net inflow and held $18.82 billion in assets, with a 0.67% daily price gain. Its trading volume reached $120.59 million with 1.46 million shares exchanged.
In a notable event, Grayscale’s GBTC experienced the largest net outflow, losing $89.92 million, reducing its cumulative inflow to -$22.85 billion. GBTC had $17.97 billion in net assets and closed with a 0.69% gain. ARKB, sponsored by Ark and 21Shares, saw a $16.12 million net outflow, with $4.53 billion in net assets and a 0.67% price gain.
Grayscale, VanEck, Valkyrie ETFs struggle despite gains
The BTC fund by Grayscale recorded zero total inflow, holding $4.06 billion in assets, with a 0.67% gain. BITB from Bitwise saw no inflow, maintaining $3.66 billion in assets, with a 0.72% price gain. VanEck’s HODL ETF posted an $8.07 million outflow and held $1.38 billion in assets, up 0.60% in value.
Valkyrie’s BRRR ETF recorded no inflow and held $579.29 million, gaining 0.64% in market price. BTCO from Invesco showed a $113.97 million cumulative inflow and gained 0.63%, holding $509.74 million in net assets.
EZBC, sponsored by Franklin, saw an $8.26 million outflow, ending with $484.52 million in assets and a 0.64% gain. BTCW by WisdomTree closed flat with no inflow, $147.12 million in assets, and a 0.60% price gain. Grayscale’s GBTC accounted for the largest drag on total net inflow during the day.
