Bitcoin has hit $93,585.07, gaining 5.71% over 24 hours. Weekly returns are even better, with a 11.56% gain. Trading volume surged to $59.43 billion, a 60.73% spike. The momentum is white hot and shows no indication of decelerating. This surge takes Bitcoin further into record price levels.

Analysts believe that spot demand and institutional purchases are driving the rally. Technicals are confirming the strength. RSI is elevated at 79.44, MACD has a large gap, and ADX stands at 92.8. The overbought market conditions have not broken the bullish market structure. The breakout is not hype; there is volume and conviction driving it.

Trade war escalates with 125% tariffs

Global markets are rattled. The U.S.-China trade war just escalated with tariffs reaching 125%. China responded with its own hikes. Traditional assets wobbled. Bitcoin didn’t. In fact, it surged 12% over the past two weeks. Many now compare it to gold, a safe haven in times of economic stress.

Alex Svanevik, CEO of Nansen, notes a decoupling from stocks. While indices like the S&P 500 dip on trade headlines, Bitcoin holds firm. It’s becoming less correlated to risk assets. This makes it attractive for investors looking for protection. Bitcoin’s behavior during these tensions signals a new phase in its evolution.

Bitcoin price forecast for 2025 between $100K and $113K

Changelly’s prediction places Bitcoin at $100,026 to $113,827 by 2025. A peak in April could be $126,900. That is a possible return of more than 40% above current levels. The average anticipated price in April is $107,809.46. Experts say this growth will be based on market optimism and adoption momentum.

But there are risks. JPMorgan now puts the chances of a US recession in 2025 at 60%. This could lead to policy moves by the Federal Reserve, initially a rate cut in September. In the meantime, the US government is lying plans for a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve, funded by seized cryptocurrency and tariff income to add to its reserves. If this happens, the role of Bitcoin in international finance would change dramatically.
