Bitget, a global crypto exchange with 100 million users, has joined hands with Avalanche to strengthen blockchain efforts in India. This partnership marks a new step toward advancing digital technology in one of the world’s most active Web3 markets.

The two companies launched their joint effort with a series of events under the ‘HODL ON’ tour. These sessions in Delhi and Bangalore aimed to teach young developers and crypto users about blockchain. The events gathered large crowds and set the tone for more meetups across other cities.

Bitget is investing heavily in Indian talent. Through its Blockchain4Youth program, it has promised $10 million over five years. The plan includes scholarships, hackathons, and workshops. Another initiative, Blockchain4Her, supports women-led Web3 projects across India and beyond.

Avalanche and Bitget fuel India’s blockchain future

Avalanche, renowned for quick and secure smart contracts, is also collaborating closely with local authorities. It has a mini-grants program that sponsors developers working on its network. These grants aim to help nascent builders and boost blockchain innovation in India.

Both companies view India as a central hub. It has the second-largest number of Web3 developers and over a thousand startups in this sector. With additional support, these startups craft tools and services for global use.

Bitget aims to double the number of Indian Web3 startups by 2025. It aims to do this by funding, mentorship, and strategic partnerships. The ‘HODL ON’ tour would act as a platform where new startups would get a chance to showcase what they have created and meet industry leaders.

Bitget and Avalanche expand Web3 events across India

Bitget and Avalanche plan to organize more events in India throughout the year. It aims to share knowledge and have strong communities locally. They think that Web3 can truly become a part of India’s digital economy if the right kind of support reaches the developers.

It also illustrates how global blockchain firms view a central Indian contribution to the next-gen take-up of Web3. With greater exposure to tools and education, Indian developers are driving a substantial change in blockchain development in daily life.

Bitget and Avalanche are investing in driving growth through constant dedication, persistent investment, and a focus on education. It shows that India continues to be a leading region of interest when considering the future of Web3.
