Ripple has committed $50 million to boost crypto education in the U.S. The company is funding the National Cryptocurrency Association (NCA), a new non-profit focused on helping Americans understand and use digital assets safely.
Ripple’s Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, will serve as NCA President. He says the organization will clear up misinformation and provide facts about crypto’s real-world impact. The NCA is open to everyone, regardless of which digital asset they use. Its goal is to highlight how crypto benefits people and businesses across the country.
A survey carried out by the NCA and Harris Poll showed that 81% of crypto holders are keen to know what is in store for crypto. One in every five American adults uses digital assets.
Out of them, 76% say crypto has improved their life through increased economic freedom, new opportunities, and community. It is utilized for e-commerce, remittances, buying NFTs, and gaming.
Ripple supports NCA’s mission to demystify crypto
Ripple’s CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, says crypto adoption is no longer a question of “if” but “when.” He believes the U.S. has always led in technology and must now embrace blockchain. He compares crypto’s evolution to the rise of railroads, automobiles, and the internet. The NCA will serve as a resource for everyday Americans, making it easier to engage with digital assets.
The NCA aims to bridge the knowledge gap with educational tools, real-life success stories, and clear explanations. Ripple’s funding will help the organization provide resources that cut through the hype and confusion surrounding crypto.
Crypto is already transforming daily life. The survey found that 39% of users shop with it, 32% engage with NFTs, and 21% trade digital collectibles. Another 20% participate in decentralized gaming. The NCA will ensure more people understand how to use these technologies responsibly.
Through Ripple’s sponsorship, the NCA will be a voice for crypto education. It will give people facts, not politics, and will help them feel empowered to navigate the digital asset space. More information is available on NCA.org.
