President Donald Trump invited a dinner of crypto enthusiasts to his Virginia golf resort, where he entertained the top holders of his TRUMP memecoin.

TikTok prankster Nicholas Pinto went to the dinner and was severely disappointed with the food and the overall vibe. Pinto called the food at the Crypto dinner the worst Trump food he ever had and left the dinner hungry.

The dinner took place on May 22, and guests had to hold hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of TRUMP tokens to receive an invitation. However, Pinto said he spent close to $300,000 to attend and called the food subpar considering the stakes of the event.

The dinner served a salad, filet mignon, pan-seared halibut with mashed potatoes, and a lava cake, but Pinto said the bread and butter were the only edible parts.

Crypto Dinner Speech Disappoints Attendees

However, social media influencer Nicholas Pinto deemed Donald Trump’s memecoin dinner speech shallow and uninspiring. Pinto found the short, rehearsed speech unimpressive and considered it too shallow for the hefty ticket price.

A few others at the dinner party agreed; it was forgettable and not impressive at all for the occasion. Guests felt dismayed when Trump left the hall immediately after his presentation without any personal interaction.

The guests had hoped for gifts, including designer watches, which never materialized. Pinto and the others felt unhappy because Trump did not personally interact with them despite their significant TRUMP memecoin investments.

At the same moment, 35 members of the Democratic Party demanded an investigation by the Justice Department regarding the dinner.

Nonetheless, Critics raised concerns that the dinner violated federal laws and the emoluments clause by accepting foreign investment without Congress’s approval. The demand for a legal investigation politicized what most already saw as a poorly managed and controversial affair.
