Sui is showing signs of recovery as analysts monitor key resistance levels for confirmation of a broader reversal. Meanwhile, its collaboration with OpenAssets aims to improve tokenized asset standards and interoperability, connecting the blockchain with broader institutional efforts around on-chain financial markets.
As of now, according to CoinMarketCap data, Sui is trading at $1.12, with a decrease of 4.48% over the past 24 hours and a decrease of 1.22% over the past week.
SUI Targets $2.05 After Clearing Initial Resistance Zone
According to a prominent crypto analyst, Giannis Andreou, SUI is recovering after building a base between $0.60 and $0.80. However, the token remains below its broken long-term rising trendline, making the $1.25–$1.40 range an important level for the current recovery.
Andreou said a weekly reclaim of the $1.25–$1.40 area, followed by a successful retest, could strengthen SUI’s recovery structure. If buyers hold this range as support, the next resistance zone to watch would be around $1.80–$2.05.
A move above $2.05 could bring the $2.80–$3.20 region into focus as the next major structural test. If momentum continues beyond that area, SUI could eventually target $4–$4.40, while the $5.15–$5.35 zone remains a conditional higher target.
Despite the recovery, Andreou warned that a rejection could push SUI back toward its previous $0.60–$0.80 base. He stressed that buyers must hold the reclaimed levels to confirm the recent bounce as a reversal and support further upside.
Sui Joins OpenAssets to Expand Tokenized Asset Standards
Sui has joined the OpenAssets initiative to expand the Open Tokenized Asset Standard (OTAS) across its blockchain ecosystem. The collaboration aims to improve how tokenized assets are represented and managed across different blockchain networks, addressing interoperability challenges that can limit their movement between platforms.
Through the partnership, Sui will contribute to efforts to establish shared standards for tokenized assets. OTAS is designed to provide a common framework that can help different institutions and financial markets use compatible approaches when issuing and managing blockchain-based representations of real-world assets.
The move comes as tokenized assets continue to gain attention across digital markets, with financial institutions exploring blockchain-based systems for bringing traditional assets on-chain. However, assets built under different technical frameworks can remain isolated, making communication between networks more difficult.
By extending OTAS to the Sui ecosystem, the initiative seeks to create greater consistency between blockchain infrastructure and institutional markets. Sui’s participation could also support broader interoperability, allowing tokenized asset systems to follow common standards rather than relying on separate approaches across individual networks.
