Aerodrome Finance (AERO) is at a key point as traders watch for a clearer near-term direction. The protocol’s reported revenue generation and planned multichain expansion could widen its reach and create new opportunities for token holders, although the outcome will depend on adoption, liquidity, and trading activity.
As of now, CoinMarketCap data shows Aerodrome Finance trading at $0.8351, down 6.31% over the past 24 hours but up 7.46% over the past week.
AERO Price Faces Key Breakout Test as Traders Watch Support and Resistance
Crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal said AERO was consolidating near $0.902 after rallying toward $0.99, with its one-hour Binance chart showing a rectangle pattern. The formation indicates that the token is trading within a defined range as traders wait for a clearer directional signal.
A rectangle pattern forms when an asset’s price fluctuates between established support and resistance levels without establishing a clear trend. For AERO, a breakout above resistance or a drop below support could indicate its next short-term direction, making these levels important for traders monitoring the chart.
AERO could extend its gains if buyers push the price above the 0.92–0.93 resistance zone. A sustained breakout above this range could open the way toward 0.95–0.96, suggesting that buying pressure is strengthening.
However, a drop below support near $0.89 could weaken the bullish setup and expose AERO to further declines toward $0.86. Traders are watching for a confirmed breakout or breakdown, supported by trading volume, to assess the token’s next move.
Aerodrome and Velodrome Report Over $570 Million in Revenue for Token Holders
According to a recent post from the Aerodrome team, Aerodrome and Velodrome have generated more than $570 million in revenue for token holders. The team also reported that the two decentralized exchanges (DEXs) have generated more revenue for token holders than any other onchain DEX, despite accounting for only around 17% of the liquidity across Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible networks.
The team also highlighted Aerodrome’s planned launch across seven additional chains next week. The expansion could give the platform access to a wider trading market and extend its reach beyond its existing ecosystem.
According to the announcement, the combined market across these chains has trading volumes nearly five times higher than the market Aerodrome currently serves. This expansion could give the platform access to a much larger pool of trading activity.
If Aerodrome captures a portion of that activity, it could increase trading volume and revenue for token holders. However, the actual impact will depend on user adoption, liquidity, and trading activity after the launch.
