NEAR Protocol (NEAR) has broken above its previous trading range, strengthening its bullish structure as buyers test a major supply zone. Meanwhile, Backpack Exchange has expanded NEAR support with spot trading, native USDC, and perpetual contracts, giving users broader access to the network’s growing trading ecosystem.

As of now, according to CoinMarketCap data, NEAR Protocol is trading at $5.23, with an increase of 3.29% over the past 24 hours and an increase of 2.52% over the past week.

NEAR Price Breaks Range as $5–$6 Supply Zone Comes Into Focus

According to prominent crypto analyst Giannis Andreou, NEAR has broken above its former trading range, moving past the previous resistance near $3.30 and entering a major supply area between $5 and $6. The breakout marks a shift in the token’s weekly structure, but the next move could depend on whether buyers can sustain the latest gains.

The $4.95 Fibonacci midpoint has emerged as a key level for NEAR following the breakout. Holding above this area would help preserve the bullish setup and could give buyers room to challenge the upper boundary of the current supply zone.

A weekly close above $6 would provide stronger confirmation of the breakout. If NEAR then successfully retests $6 as support, the next upside targets could come around $7.27 and $8.20, according to the analyst’s technical setup.

However, the higher range between $7.50 and $9.00 represents strong historical supply and could create additional resistance. On the downside, losing $4.95 could weaken the breakout and expose NEAR to a pullback toward $4.00. A deeper decline could then bring the former $3.30 range ceiling back into focus.

NEAR Listed on Backpack Exchange as Spot Trading and Native USDC Go Live

NEAR Protocol has expanded its trading presence on Backpack Exchange with the addition of NEAR spot trading and native USDC support. The move gives users another venue to access NEAR while adding support for the network’s native stablecoin on the exchange.

The announcement from NEAR Protocol confirmed that $NEAR is now listed on Backpack Exchange, expanding the token’s availability on the platform. The exchange also supports native USDC on NEAR, allowing users to access the asset alongside the newly added NEAR spot market.

Backpack also highlighted the expansion of NEAR-related trading support on its platform. Alongside the new spot market and native USDC support, the exchange has introduced NEAR perpetual contracts, giving traders access to both spot and derivatives markets for the token.

The broader rollout gives Backpack users more ways to interact with NEAR through its trading infrastructure. With spot trading, native USDC support, and perpetual contracts now available, the exchange has expanded its coverage of the NEAR ecosystem and related trading products.
