BitGo Europe has entered into a partnership with German stablecoin company AllUnity, with the deal announced on Aug. 17, to support three regulated digital currencies backed by fiat reserves: EURAU, CHFAU and SEKAU.

The stablecoins are pegged to the euro, Swiss franc and Swedish krona, respectively, and are designed for institutional clients looking for digital assets denominated in European currencies.

Under the agreement, BitGo Europe will serve as an initial purchaser and institutional liquidity provider for the three tokens. Eligible clients can access the assets via AllUnity’s Business Mint Account. BitGo will integrate its custody, trading and OTC services with AllUnity’s platform to facilitate the issuance and redemption of the stablecoins.

Institutional clients will have access to real-time liquidity, along with the ability to mint and redeem tokens directly through AllUnity. The arrangement is intended to support settlement, treasury management and digital asset trading. Client access remains subject to onboarding rules, jurisdiction checks and other compliance requirements before institutions can use the services.

BitGo Gains Direct Access to AllUnity Stablecoins

BitGo Europe can issue and redeem EURAU, CHFAU and SEKAU through a direct connection with AllUnity. This access allows the firm to obtain the tokens as institutional clients need liquidity and convert them back into fiat currency when redemption is required. AllUnity said the service offers liquidity in real time.

Neither company disclosed settlement timelines, minimum trade sizes, fees, or daily issuance caps. The announcement did not provide details on BitGo’s initial capital commitment, transaction volume targets, or the identity of any institutions using the arrangement at launch.

EURAU uses the euro as its underlying currency, and AllUnity introduced the stablecoin in July 2025. AllUnity maintains euro reserves through multiple banking partners, while eligible holders can redeem the token for its full euro-denominated value. CHFAU is pegged to the Swiss franc and has recorded nearly 50 million Swiss francs in total value locked following its deployment on Solana.

SEKAU Stablecoin Reserves Span Five Blockchain Networks

SEKAU uses Swedish krona reserves as backing, and AllUnity launched the stablecoin under a regulated framework across five blockchain networks, including Polygon, Tempo, Ethereum, Base and Solana.

According to AllUnity, each stablecoin has one-to-one reserve backing in its respective currency. Individual MiCA white papers outline redemption rights, reserve arrangements and risks associated with the tokens.

AllUnity obtained an electronic money institution license from Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority in July 2025. The authorization allows the company to issue e-money tokens in accordance with the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets framework. Under the MiCA framework, holders are legally entitled to redeem e-money tokens for their stated value.

AllUnity’s service is available only to companies and other legal entities rather than individuals or retail users. BitGo Europe is registered in Germany as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA and complies with German anti-money laundering rules. Eligible institutions can access the service from August 17, subject to required checks.
