Injective (INJ) is consolidating after an earlier bullish move, with its current range potentially setting the stage for another breakout. Its relative strength remains notable, while growing real-world asset adoption adds utility to the ecosystem. Pineapple Financial’s tokenization plans could further strengthen Injective’s role in onchain finance.

As of now, according to CoinMarketCap data, Injective is trading at $4.73, down 6.72% over the past 24 hours and down 10.66% over the past week.

INJ Builds a Reaccumulation Base Ahead of a Potential Breakout

According to prominent crypto analyst Scient, Injective appears to be forming a reaccumulation range following its earlier bullish move. The analyst expects the token to remain within this range for several more days or even weeks before making another breakout attempt. This suggests the current sideways movement may be part of a healthy pause rather than a sign of weakening momentum.

The analyst also pointed to INJ’s relative strength compared with the wider altcoin market. INJ was among the earlier tokens to find a bottom and shift its broader trend to bullish, alongside assets such as NEAR. That early strength may explain why INJ is now consolidating while other major cryptocurrencies continue to close the gap with its earlier performance.

Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and several altcoins are also showing signs of recovery and pushing toward higher levels. Against this backdrop, traders should not necessarily view INJ’s lack of immediate upside as a sign of weakness. Instead, the analyst sees the current consolidation as a normal pause after an earlier breakout, giving the broader market time to narrow the performance gap before INJ potentially resumes its upward trend.

From a trading perspective, the analyst is closely watching the 200-day moving average (DMA200) as a potential entry area, particularly where it aligns with the optimal trade entry (OTE) zone. The analyst also noted that market-leading altcoins can provide useful clues about broader price action. Their early movements may help traders gauge short-term trends in major assets such as Bitcoin.

Injective Surpasses $1 Billion in Tokenized Real Estate Mortgages

Injective highlighted in a recent X post that more than $1 billion in real estate mortgage assets have now been tokenized on its blockchain. This growing real-world asset presence adds another dimension to Injective’s broader strength, even as INJ remains in the reaccumulation phase highlighted by Scient. The milestone shows Injective’s growing role in bringing traditional financial products onto blockchain-based infrastructure.

The achievement also strengthens Injective’s position among Layer-1 networks focused on RWA tokenization. Surpassing the $1 billion mark in mortgage assets gives the network a notable footprint in tokenized finance and reflects the growing use of blockchain technology for financial products beyond conventional cryptocurrencies.

The latest expansion is tied to Pineapple Financial, which has started the process of tokenizing its mortgage assets on Injective. The company is working to bring a portfolio worth around $10 billion onto the network, potentially giving Injective access to a much larger pool of real-world financial assets over time.

Pineapple Financial could further strengthen Injective’s activity in the RWA sector as more traditional assets move onchain. If the tokenization effort continues as planned, the additional mortgage assets could expand Injective’s RWA base and strengthen its role in connecting traditional finance with blockchain-based markets.
