Aptos (APT) is approaching a critical phase as technical signals raise caution around its near-term direction, while its blockchain infrastructure gains a practical role in regulated international payments. The network is simultaneously facing a key market test and expanding its utility through a stablecoin-powered Nigeria-UAE business payment corridor.
As of now, according to CoinMarketCap data, Aptos is trading at $0.8383, with an increase of 2.38% over the past 24 hours and an increase of 9.31% over the past week.

APT Price Faces $0.90 Resistance as Rising Wedge Signals Potential Pullback
Crypto analyst Crypto With Gopal noted that Aptos is showing signs of caution as its price trades within a rising wedge pattern and approaches the key $0.90 resistance level. The formation suggests that buying momentum may be weakening as APT remains near the upper boundary.
The $0.80 support zone is a key level for maintaining the current bullish structure. If buyers continue to defend this area, APT could preserve its upward trajectory and make another attempt to break through the $0.90 resistance.

However, a breakdown below $0.80 could weaken the technical structure and increase selling pressure. In that case, APT could face a deeper correction toward the $0.55 area, making the support zone a key level for traders monitoring the pattern.
On the upside, a decisive breakout above $0.90 could weaken the bearish implications of the rising wedge and create room for further gains. With APT approaching these key levels, traders are watching for a breakout or breakdown to determine the next potential move.
Aptos Supports Regulated Stablecoin Corridor Linking Nigeria and UAE
According to Aptos, a regulated cross-border payment corridor is being developed to connect businesses in Nigeria and the UAE. Nigerian businesses can pay in local currency, while UAE-based businesses receive funds in their local currency, with stablecoins moving between the two markets through Aptos.
The corridor is being developed by Daya and HashKey MENA, with support from the Aptos Foundation. The framework uses stablecoins for settlement between the two markets while allowing businesses to transact in their respective local currencies.
The initiative uses Aptos as the blockchain settlement layer connecting the two regions, providing infrastructure for cross-border business payments between Nigeria and the UAE through a regulated stablecoin-based system.
