Ripple has introduced Ripple Mint, a unified platform designed for institutional customers using RLUSD. The service allows organizations to access, mint, redeem, transfer, and manage RLUSD through a single interface instead of relying on separate systems. Ripple said existing institutional RLUSD customers can start using Ripple Mint immediately.
Ripple Mint supports both a web interface and direct API connections. Financial firms can connect RLUSD to existing systems while managing digital dollar liquidity across multiple blockchain networks. The platform also automates routine stablecoin management tasks for organizations handling large transaction volumes.
Exchanges, payment providers, fintech firms, market makers, and enterprise customers can use Ripple Mint to mint, redeem, bridge, and monitor RLUSD, according to Ripple. Access is available through either a web interface or API integration, giving institutions multiple ways to manage operations.
Ripple Mint Strengthens RLUSD Institutional Infrastructure
Ripple said the launch of Ripple Mint adds another component to the institutional infrastructure supporting RLUSD. The platform is designed for payment activity, treasury operations, and blockchain settlement while keeping every stage of stablecoin management in one place.
Customers can request fiat redemptions, transfer RLUSD between compatible blockchain networks, review account balances, monitor transaction status, and receive real-time information on mint processing, fiat deposits, on-chain settlement, and payouts. Ripple added that uniform reference identifiers link every stage of each transaction, giving institutions a clearer record of both fiat and blockchain operations while lowering the need for manual processes.
Ripple confirmed RLUSD continues expanding beyond its original availability on XRP Ledger and Ethereum. The stablecoin is now extending across the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain as Ripple increases institutional access across more blockchain networks.
RLUSD Expands Institutional Blockchain Payment Access
Ripple is expanding blockchain support to position RLUSD where institutional liquidity and blockchain applications continue to grow while maintaining close links with the XRP Ledger. Ripple expects XRP and RLUSD to work together across payments, liquidity, settlement, collateral management, and tokenized financial applications.
Ripple’s expansion will increase RLUSD availability across exchanges, decentralized finance protocols, payment applications, and other on-chain financial infrastructure. Ripple Mint becomes part of this broader effort by giving institutions one place to manage RLUSD across supported blockchain networks.
Standard Custody & Trust Company issues RLUSD in the United States under regulation from the New York Department of Financial Services. Ripple noted that each RLUSD token is supported by a one-to-one reserve ratio, with backing provided through cash and cash equivalents maintained in separate reserve accounts.
