Injective (INJ) is showing signs of recovery as buyers defend key support and attempt to rebuild bullish momentum. A sustained breakout could open the way for further gains, while a loss of support may weaken the recovery. Meanwhile, progress in regulated futures trading could strengthen the case for its proposed staked ETF.
As of now, according to CoinMarketCap data, INJ is trading at $8.83, down 1.63% over the past 24 hours and 8.14% over the past week.

INJ Price Analysis: Injective Eyes $9 as Buyers Defend Support
According to crypto analyst Eagle.inj, Injective has begun recovering after rebounding from the $7.50–$7.60 support zone. The analyst’s chart shows INJ holding above a rising trendline, keeping the potential for further gains in focus as buyers attempt to regain control.

The $8.50 level represents the next key hurdle. A sustained breakout above this resistance could strengthen bullish momentum and open the way toward the $9.00–$9.40 range, where sellers may attempt to restrict further gains.
However, the recovery depends on INJ maintaining its support structure. A drop below $7.50 could weaken the bullish setup and expose the token to additional selling pressure. The analyst’s longer-term outlook remains focused on INJ reaching double-digit prices, although that scenario depends on further progress in the recovery.
INJ Futures Milestone Could Strengthen Canary Staked ETF Prospects
The data from Injective further shows that INJ futures have surpassed six months of trading on Bitnomial, a US derivatives exchange and clearing organization regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and owned by Payward, Kraken’s parent company. Launched on April 15, the contracts provide traders with access to INJ through a regulated US derivatives market.
The milestone could be relevant to the proposed Canary Staked INJ ETF (INJC), as six months of futures trading on a CFTC-regulated exchange is one of the conditions under the SEC’s generic listing standards for certain commodity-based exchange-traded products. However, meeting this requirement alone does not guarantee the fund’s approval or listing.
Bitnomial’s INJ futures contracts feature monthly expirations and crypto settlement. Traders can post cryptocurrency or US dollars as margin through Bitnomial Clearinghouse, with access provided through clearing-member futures commission merchants. This structure gives eligible market participants a regulated way to gain futures exposure to INJ without buying the token directly in the spot market.
The proposed INJC ETF, meanwhile, aims to provide investors with exposure to Injective through traditional brokerage accounts. The fund is designed to hold and stake INJ, with staking rewards reinvested into its net asset value. If approved and listed, it could expand access to the token, although its regulatory status remains a key factor.
